The most likely reason is that the competition was set up as qualifying for handicap adjustment. It's an easy mistake to make as it is just a checkbox that is ticked by default. Easily undone if this is the case.

Of course the reply you will get will be "it was a computer glitch" !!

I take that back. Just looked and it says it's a non qualifier. You'll have to see what the Sec says. Computer is very rarely wrong though.

Got to the bottom of it,no dodgy Homer type mystery players playing under my name I am glad to report..... a .1 up adjustment for an away score 1st week in Sept,I shot 72 nett and CSS was 70....I actually thought it was 71 so wasn't expecting the adjustment.

Anyhow,our new MS found a pile of cards lying around the office in early December that hadn't been dealt with by the previous MS (he also found cards going back to May/June!)...what a super job he was doing eh?!

Screwback,not sure where yours has come from as I'm sure you shot nett 70 that same fine day we captured another cup in our triple winning season....have I told anyone about that fact?

He did say though he hasn't adjusted you for CLS but I have had mine done....looks like he was left a real mess but he is getting it all sorted.

On another note an esteemed member of our squad has been sent a letter as his handicap has lapsed....look's like he'll not be going through Open Qualifying!! I am sure you don't need 2 goes at guessing who it is?? Don't be scared,it's only point one is my only clue......
