Reading, Posting and so on ? (excluding watching films)

Must be some people on here who spend hours and hours or are you only a GM forum person and don't buy online

Loads. On my 40 odd minute train journeys to and from work I'll be on Facebook or Reddit the whole way. All day in office I have a window open with this forum for all the little infinite moments during the day where I'm bored. Always have my phone in front of me on the desk so I can WhatsApp friends all day as well.

Funnily enough the longest time I'm ever away from it (aside from sleeping) is probably out on the golf course. I use a phone app GPS but I won't check WhatsApp or Facebook for the entire round until we're back in the clubhouse at the end.

Usually a couple of hours every evening, mainly YouTube and guitar related sites. A relief to get away from the wife's diet of George Clarke's Amazing building sites or Kevin McCloud's weird houses.

Way too much, like most others.

Why don't you use whatsapp-web instead? Saves you having to go back and forth between keyboard and your phone, i.e., easier to hide from your boss that you're not doing what you're supposed to do.

Quite a bit, but this is pretty much the only forum. I find utube great for my interests in playing music, art and photigraphy

what guitar sites are you on?

JazzGuitar.be is a really good one, full of free tutorial stuff. I also use Ultimate-Guitar.com for tablature (a lot of decent stuff amongst some basic offerings). Also recently discovered DavePriceGuitar.co.uk which I'm quite impressed with as he covers a lot of rhythm guitar parts particularly Nile Rodgers style material. YouTube is obviously a brilliant start point as a lot of the video clips have links to the performers websites. Trouble is it's so easy to get distracted. Do a search for Van Halen and ten minutes later I'm listening to something by Bach. Still beats DIY SOS.

Spend far to much time online and on my mobile scrolling through Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and googling random crap. This is the only forum I'm on though.

I'm more into Guitar porn TBH.... ie vintage staff

Varies according to what needs doing.

Read at least 4 newspapers online, dictate email replies etc - and waste time on here chewing the fat (since most TV SWMBO watches is utter drivel).

Far too much. I have been tempted to scrap social media as it can be such a negative environment. Probably should have a massive cull on who I follow on Twitter but we’ll see.

Facebook has turned into a ‘tag a friend who...’ and it’s really beginning to annoy me, so that might have to go at some stage.

GM one of 3 forums I visit, but only one I really post on. WhatsApp also takes up a large amount of time

Interested in what you consider far too much. About an hour on average - max 2 on the odd ocassion. I would hate to be spending more and would make a concerted effort not to if it crept the wrong way. I think an hour is too much unless its part of your job

There's really no need. Nobody in my office cares if you're checking your phone.
