I have played 14. This about average for me. I can't do the midweek stuff, but play in the weekend comps if they are on, and I'm about. I think there are only around 20 events in total anyway.

I have played under 10 qualifiers, I prefer to play later on in the day when the course is quiet and it also enables me to get the house/gardening done during the morning.

I'd guess we'd be around 25 to 30 in a season that runs from April through September.
Most of these are on a Sunday, which is our qualifying comp day, with a midweek monthly medal and the occasional midweek stableford to top up the number.
I've played 18 this year including three at away courses.

I've done 16 this year. We have 23 (I think) at weekends through the season, although, the club champs are a Saturday and Sunday in one weekend, and we have a handicap trophy that is 36 holes in a day. So 4 of my qualifiers were done in 3 days !

Also, in an effort to have more qualifiers we have had 3 "turkey trots" through October that have been counting for handicap (In previous years they were non-qualifying). We have a mid week competitions also but due to work I cant play in them. In summary the balance has been better at my club this year recognising they have to try and keep everyone happy (there is a large contingent who would rather have only one a month!), personally I'd like more qualifying competitions at weekends. Looking back I only played 1 in June and 1 in September !
