I dont know where you get that from I mean most are just the right length,some are longer and some a little bit longer than that, the one's that are longer than them are getting on the long side but still not long, only if you go longer than the previous ones can anyone accuse you of posting long posts. If you keep them just the right length than you will be OK but get too long and then people will have a case for them becoming a bit on the long side. All in all I think most are just this side of a good length and are mainly interesting but can get a bit boring at times. This is down to the individual poster though and no reflection on anybodies posts in the past. Short posts can be good and easy to read but lack detail. I prefer my posts to be :

Well Bob it was a post of two half's. I think he was operating a Queens English set up to start with, and was keeping gibberish fresh on the bench. Spelling and punctuation got tired in the second half and at the end of the day he was as sick as a parrot and made some schoolboy errors. It was a mans game and eleven against eleven but you've got to put the ball in the onion bag
