How long does it take you to get to your club?

Now the new slip roads have been opened it takes me 3 minutes 34 seconds to my local (Glenbervie) and 40 minutes to Leven Links.

3 minutes and 43 seconds? Lucky you.
Used to take me that long to walk from the car park to the clubhouse at my old club!

10-15 minutes depending on the traffic..
If it gets HS2'd then it'll be 15 to the new one.
Don't want to be too far away from it because a lot of my golf is spur of the moment - if I have a 2 hr lesson cancel, as I leave at least 1/2 hour between lessons I can just about get a round in. If I had to travel 30 minutes then that wouldn't be possible..

Currently at a club 20-25 minutes away, time is not an issue for me at the moment and it was £100 for 4 months... So was a benefit in cost, I still have 6 weeks left on that membership too. After doing it 3-4 times a week I hardly notice the time any more but I can see it would stop me playing a quick 9 or a few holes after work once that starts again.

I think I will continue to be a member for the moment, as there are no closer courses I could join. If the job is in the opposite direction or the hours don't fit I might have to change to another but the distance will probably not change much due to lack of (very) close courses. I have a huge selection in the 25-40 minute bracket however!

Takes me 20/25 mins but if hit traffic wrong during summer could be an hour! There are nearer clubs but didn't offer the flexibility of playing times so although slightly more traveling time means more rounds overall

The club I've just joined is 5 miles away, takes about 7 minutes
The driving range (and another course) is 3 miles away, 5 mins
My closest course is 0.8 miles, 1-2 mins
There's other courses 7 miles, 6 miles and must have another dozen within 10-15 miles so plenty of choice.

I wish my course was closer, 50 minutes from home, about the same from work, bit tiresome but I'd rather do the drive than play at a lesser course 10 minutes away, no question.

The club i was in was 45 min drive , lovely course but makes it a long day ..
new course is handy, if i work through lunch , i can leave work at 5, play 9 holes & still be home before 7 .. happy days with a family

Can do it in 20ish minutes or so but for an Irish top 20 course it is worth it IMO plus it has good facilites and what not there was the option of joining one a little closer but with everything on offer it was a pretty easy choice.
