Started at 16.6 got down to 14.9 then back up, to finish on 15.8 . but i did whip a links players ass on the St Andrews New Course course, so it can't be all bad.

And there's always next year i hope.

Handicap stayed the same , played well but made costly mistakes at times stopping my handicap coming down , still when away to the algarve and got cut to 2 and still played to it and won , so happy with things this year and got the game to play to a lower handicap which everyone things i should be anyway . Guess i no longer think or feel the same way like in the past where i was totally into winning , its just not that important anymore

Started at 20.3, then up to 21.4 before a brilliant round in August medal got me down to 18.6 Three 0.1s straight after and then steadied things with no more rises. Happy to finish the season with an exact hc that starts with a 1 and an 8. Got a second place in a medal (robbed I say, robbed), played a few cracking casual rounds, and only one "walk of shame" (=last place in the swindle. Was last year's WoS champion).

Pleased. Roll on next season for better.

I wasn't aware we played match play for you to Whip me as you keep saying and as i said before you can't win a game if you keep taking illegal drops from bunkers, despite your playing partners telling you that you couldn't just drop out the back when you felt like it:rofl:

It's been ok, handicap rise has slowed with plenty of buffers and even snuck in a couple of cuts (hopefully be another one going in from an away day) we play qualifiers all year round, but they do slow down to 1 maybe 2 a month from October, and I've been throwing some good cutworthy scores in swindles recently so hopefully!

Played some great new courses with a couple more lined up still.
Represented the club a few times too and won 2 out of 3 of my matches!

Not a bad year but definitely not the best in terms of results but an improvement on horror that was 2013!

Today's nine holer just about summed it up. Played horrendous with flashes of brilliance which saw me win div 2. With 12 flippin points.
mind only two of us in it.
inconsistant is not the word.

One to forget on the playing front only managed to make buffer twice. Don't know what to expect with an iron in my hands at present. On the plus side got to meet up with some of the guys off the forum at Beau Desert, HFH and Tidworth the day after and as ever had a great craic. Also got to play some great courses but didn't do any of them justice.

Roll on next year! Things can only get better - or so they say.

Started on 12.9 got it down to my lowest ever at 11.8 and ended up on 12.5 which was a little disappointing but still 0.4 down from the start of the season. I think i know my game better now and know the course so much better having only joined in 01/2013. Looking forward to a strong winter of matchplay now and seeing what next season brings.

I've been battling a really dodgy swing for much of the year but have had some good results along the way and have enjoyed playing every round as always.

Handicap-wise I managed to hold onto single figures, which I achieved for the first time at the end of last year, and even managed a slight drop.

Now getting into the club's Winter League and a there's the mini-meet at Brampton Heath to look forward to.

Hit an all time low of 22 points today. Game went AWOL and so a horrid way to end the summer golf and hope this isn't a sing of things to come or it'll be a long harsh winter.

Pretty similar here with a meagre 27 points. A wicked bounce OOB on the first set the tone for the day.

In the space of a week the course has changed completely with virtually no run on the ball, greens that look as though they haven't been cut for a month and enough leaves to bring the whole rail network to a halt.
