It was plan A to put the rest of my group off at Woburn with my sparkling wit and repartee as they swing. Plan B was simply to drag them all down to my level by the sixth with my standard of golf
Does it reay affect people that badly?
The problem I have with it, is that it's a noise that shouldn't be there. If you're thinking to yourself "they're still talking" even if you don't mind, it's x% of your brain that isn't concentrating on the shot.
We have a train line running alongside our course and they don't bother me. We are on the flight path for aeroplanes landing at East Midlands about 20 miles away but they don't bother me. If I can hear someone talking behind me I start thinking about it. It's just rude.
