How can you go up 0.2 in a round?

Latest competition results are in and I N/R in a medal after losing a ball with 5 holes to go, already in a rubbish round just gave up the ghost.

Gone from 12.3 to 12.5?

How is that possible? Ive noticed a few other members have also gone up 0.2.

Something must be wrong here ?

I would get this checked with your handicap secretary. There is a function for handicaps that lets clubs do an extra adjustment and it happened to me once that i went up 0.2 but turned out someone had pressed the wrong button. I never noticed until I eneded up with a different handicap on howdidido from my club handicap ???

Happened to me also this weekend.

Our September medal was paired with a main board comp that is only open for members over 3 years not having won a main board comp already (i.e. not the usual suspects)

Had to sign in for both to enter and as I missed buffer by 1 went up 0.1 in both!

I think its getting sorted out though and the main board comp will be deemed a non-qualifier so hopefully will get that 0.1 back!

Apparently the cards from our Thursday knockabout went in for some strange reason. Oh well I was a Cat2 Golfer for 5 days!
