Hollow irons

Taylormade have done well from the forum - The amount of P770's, P790's and P7MC's floating around! :ROFLMAO:

I fancy some T100s in Steelfibre, where they in stiff or regular and how did you find the shafts?
I've got i95's in my JPX919's, very smooth shaft, just a shame they don't quite work for me at the moment, hence looking for other options

The published fitting guide suggests flex by driver swing speed. For R they have a range of 90 - 105 or so, and for S 100 - 115. I am 100 on a good day, although I use S in everything (midweight steel, mind), so I tried an R flex from the fitting cart.

It didn't feel dead like graphite, felt as bob says pretty smooth, but also very stable and the ball went straight a lot. Good height for me, I tend to be a low ball hitter, 60-70 ft peak, but the Steelfibers went a bit over 70, but not a spinny flick up in the air, a nice flight and good distance. The upcharge on them is around 30 quid a shaft with Titleist and closer to 50 with Mizuno, so not to be sneezed at.

Day off tomorrow so off to the club to work on the changes from my lesson BUT also gives me a chance to hit the I525's. Excited as I like the look of them and the stronger loft/higher flight could tick a few boxes

Well, this would be considered a flier! 6 iron with no breeze is normally 165 yards tops. I know it's Top Tracer, but even so. ? Maybe fliers really are down to properly hit shots.
