That time of year when we can almost see the light at the end of the long winter tunnel.

Where we all off to this summer?

Cyprus for us, a week in a villa, an 8 year old and a 4 year old who can't keep it down so it's the best option.

Lanzagrotty for a week in 3 weeks time then Mexico for 14 nights in October
Also got a couple of music festivals lined up if that counts and we’re looking at a weekend away for our anniversary in November.

Crete again. 9 nights of bliss in our favourite place. Same village but different apartments. Both kids coming again with us (20 and 18) which I think will be the last family holiday.
4 nights golf in Fuengirola in May too.

Lazise, Lake Garda in Italy. Lovely lovely place. A relaxing holiday with lots to see, at a gentle pace

I hesitated posting this thread at first didn't want to come across as tone deaf to the cost of living crisis etc. Then I remembered it's a golf forum and everyone's loaded

Playacar next to Playa Del Carmen, you’re kind of shafted with Mexico now as there doesn’t seem to be flights to the west coast.

Week in Paris before Easter then a week in Mumbles in July (doing an organised walk around the Gower Peninsula). We can't book a 'big' foreign holiday yet as the Mrs is hoping to be a kidney donor for our niece and not sure when/if this will happen but hopefully sometime this year.

Started the year in Rome (flew home the 2nd Jan), Mexico is booked for June, Portugal work golf trip in the pipeline then new year in Barcelona.

Should be a good year.

Starting with a week in Florence on 16th next month for the bosses 60th. I'm a lucky lad, my Mrs likes football so we're going to the Fiorentina vs Juventus game. Always wanted to go to that stadium.
Got 10 days in May, 3wks in September and 10days in November off work but not booked anywhere for those dates yet.

Next week, three weeks in Florida with two-day excursions to Vegas and Toronto. Four NHL games, spring training baseball, work with the Tampa Bay Bucs and two days covering the Valspar PGA tour event for Florida radio/TV. Every other daylight moment - Clearwater Beach.

Nah just the boys. Wife and MiL are happy to sit by the pool or go for a wander in to town.

We were in Oman a few weeks ago (can’t recommend it highly enough). Off to Marrakech for sun and golf in March, boys golf trip to Tavira in June, Almeria mixed golfing in September and Palm Springs in November. We are trying to make the most of retirement whilst we can.
