Get the irons, just lump the rest of the cost on a credit card. Job done.

If that's not an option then stock pile stuff like balls, tee's, maybe another pair of shoes, couple of polo shirts. It'll all come in handy eventually and it's better than losing out on it all.

It's your money and you should be entitled to the FULL amount. Why should you lose out because of someone else's actions.
This is the problem when winnings go to an account in a shop instead of being able to spend it as you get it.
As mentioned earlier press the club secretary to offset the money against your green fees.
Can some money be transferred on to a bar account.
Alternatively buy a new Driver ie Titleist 915 to TaylorMade M1 and either keep it for yourself or flog it.

But if it's a limited company he can just put the business into liquidation and I might not get anything. He's still hoping someone steps in but at 200 quid a month rent and the poor mark up in golf gear in general I can't see anyone taken it on.

The GPSs might be my best bet the iron option not looking likey 680 plus for a set of 714 ap2s 4-pw. And that's off the shelf and I would feel better if I had time to get fixed etc

Why don't you just offer to buy stuff from the shop for people On here for a discount? So £300 worth of vouchers for £270 say?

That way you convert the vouchers into cash and people get discount? Win win.

It's what I do at my club as I have no need for anything in there (don't stock my brand of club and have more golf balls and shoes in garage than you can imagine).

A group buy out of the shop between all club members owed money. Shares would relate to debt.

Members club with members pro shop could possible be awesome.

If rent is only £200, and 200 members got involved, it's £12 a year each for golf gear
At trade cost plus a bit of profit here and there. Every share holder would only work 1.5 days each.

If I could sacrifice £15 a year and 2 days leave for a share of a shop meaning I got all my purchases at cost or cost plus ten % I'd ask where do I sign!even 50 share holders , you'd only work one week of your full time annual leave allowance

The pro at Maesdu G C left a few months ago to follow his daughter on the Ladies European Tour so he sold off all the stock in the shop. There were some pretty decent deals to be had there as everything went. The new pro came in with all his own gear.

That's a great idea but something like that would take a fair bit of setting up. And some members dont spend any money in the shop and be glad its going as they think it's over priced. Were now they will likely get gui vouchers which can be used in any golf store in Ireland so means they have a greater choice and also can sell them on for close to face value..
