Help and advice re price

I owe you an apology then, sorry.

I wrongly assumed that the point of this 'thread' was to 'merely' find out how much something was to then try and sell it.

If find it quite sad and annoying that I honestly came for advice and ended up getting comments that have no reflection on my question/query. There is no need for smart comments guys, I thought that the maturity level on a fourm of this kind would only have pleasant members. Please stop replying and i will organise a CLEAR photo of the picture in question. Thanks

I wouldn't bother pal, I doubt anyone else on this forum cares about a picture signed by monty.

Good luck selling it and any other tat you've got :)

Okay, are you going to let everyone know when they are able to reply again? or are we to put our hands up?

Just so long as we can help you in your quest to make as much as possible from the present you so ungratefully received...

Oops, i think i replied to early...

In my experience something is only worth what it'll fetch at auction... On 'Flog it' recently the resident expert valued an item at £250-£350... At auction it sold for £750!

So, only pheasant pluckers need apply?

I've a signed photo of Monty from a clinic he did at Silvermere a few weeks before the RC. I reckon its worth about £5 tops.

At the end of the day its only worth what people are prepared to pay for it. The fact that the prinit is limited to 250 doesn't necessarily make it commercially viable and nor does a famous signature. If its not that interesting a picture/too popularised then there will be plenty of others on the market. My advice would be to google the artist and maybe some of these sports memorabilia sites and see if they can offer a price.

As it is a RC piece and we've established the print is of Celtic Manor (we have haven't we) then yes it may well have a certain cache to it. There will be some golfers on here that may offer a decent price but Google is your friend and I suggest you do your own market research. I have to be fair and say the original post did sound like a punt at just flogging it on here

I reckon it will be fake, there were a few signed RC team pics from Celtic Manor going around with COA that were fakes, Poulter outed one on twitter when someone sent him a picof his signed print and asked if brought memories back for Poulter to say yes ut it's not his signature on it.

Check ebay, the most recent Monty pics have gone for about £20, there are some 2010 signed pics up for £150 but they arent selling so are obviously over the top. If you can get £50 to £100 I would say you were doing well. I supect the lower value is more likely though.
