what I found most interesting was that both Oosterthingy's heels are well off the ground!

I don't understand the pictures Bob, what is it you are trying to point out?
Without an explaination the post is misleading at best.
From what I can see all the players have slid their lower bodies (hips) towards the target which leaves the trailing leg very much 'at an angle', not one person is standing over a 'vertical' trtailing right leg'.
They all leave their head where it was at address to incur some secondary tilt away from the target but that's a product of the hips moving forward, not the head moving back.
They all appear to have their left hip in FRONT of where the ball was tee'd up and a moment after these pics were taken they will all post up on the left leg....
Is THAT what you were trying to say? because some might think you were advocating to 'hang back' on your driver??![]()
Bob can you tell me if narrowing my stance to turn better would be a bad thing...I find that if i take a shoulder width or slightly wider stance then i cant turn properly and find that i start hooking everything....
If i narrow my stance and stand a little taller then i get a far better turn and hardly any hooks at all.
It will be easier to sway with a wide stance. Keeping the stance a bit narrower will encourage a better turn as long as it doesn't get too narrow.
Ive tried to address my Driving a little more and stop myself from staying back. On the evidence shown I might just concentrate on my swing and not worry about it.
