Was offered a titleist 909d2 with a reg Voodoo shaft in today for £140 and said no. I think it was brand new as the head was taped up but cant be sure, certainly looked in good condition.

What are these going for £220 ish?

2nd hand, about £135 ish. New, quite a lot.

These are incredibly unforgiving drivers. Long, but unforgiving. If you are a really good driver, then they are fantastic, but if you have an off day, they are a liability.

I said no because my FT-5 is spot on, and I'll be getting the G15 next month for nowt from ping so I would have been buying it for the sake of it.

You might not get a G15. It could be an i, or even a Rapture.

You just have to keep it for 40 years before you are old enough to use it.

I agree with Murph - they are great if you middle it with a good swing but hell on toast if you don't have your A game.
Bit like most Titleist drivers really..

Had the same club Tony but a stiff shaft when i was swinging well it was like a rocket launcher but slightly of no good at all mate, have just switched to the Ping i15 and a bit longer and its easy to hit, give it a go you'll like it and i'm only 40 by the way :D

Spot on. They are beautiful looking drivers however they are very very unforgiving. Unless you button it it goes like a donkey, hee-haw!
