Played a quick 18 holes tonight. I was playing by myself and joined the 2 ball infront me after 4 holes.

I was utterly amazed with this guys swing, I was absolutely speechless after I saw him drive hole after hole perfectly. He didn't miss a fairway from the hole I joined them.

Who needs a perfect swing eh!

Honest to god, I don't believe in lying. You either tell it as is, or keep stup!.

His flight was really low but it went bleedin far. (Fairways are really solid atm too). His short game was bad, tended to shank off to the left. His hand are really low!

I play regularly with a guy at my club with a very similar swing to this and he plays off 6

Believe me, I couldn't fathom how he was getting the distance he was getting.

The 12th at wakefield is about 290 uphill to the centre of the green, he drove over the back onto the 18th green!

It's got some good points to it. I can see it working well with a driver, but irons must take some effort!

I can believe 300 yard drives with that swing. At this time with solid fairways anyone can get it near that.

How do you manage to shank a ball to the left (without being left handed)?

Some players can get away with weird moves on some shots but that guy will never be a good player with that swing, whether or not he hits the odd 300 yard drive (240 yards carry and 60 yards run).

Flippin nailed one today, 298 yards, with a half decent swing. Longest of the year so far. Can't see how that goes 300+. Tee must have been well foward.
