At current I don't have an official HC. come 1st March I will be a temporary member at one of my locals so should be able to get one sorted before the Centenary day at Hanbury - just means I have to get on the course at least 3 times during March! What a chore :)

How's that sound Bob? Reckon you could take Smiffy? ;) ;)

If we get to have our rematch at Blackmoor, I'll let him play off 4 or 5 to even it up a little if he wants.
It would be nice for him if he got the chance for a couple of three pointers.

Seem to remember i had a request from a certain Pro, that under no circumstances did he want to be drawn with a Robert Smith. Something about not being able to live down being beaten by a peasant again.    ;)

I think I ruined your poll. I put 11 but was forgetting I went up 0.1 on Saturday which makes me 11.5 so it should be 12 - sorry.

Do I get disqualified for signing for the wrong handicap?

Sod off. The fact that I haven't played to my handicap in competitive rounds for months now means the probability of three more 0.1's are much higher than any cut. It's a bloody forum and I'll say what I want

I feel your pain Homer.

Down here in NZ we've a different system for handicapping, remember we also use slope indexs.
Basically your scores are entered into the national computer and then your best 10 of your last 20 rounds are averaged out and multiplied by .96 to give you your index . You take this to the course you're playing and consult the stroke index chart to see what your playing handicap is.
Although most course now have the Dot golf card system so you punch in your membership number and it prints out your card for you :)
Advantage of this system is that if you're in a rough patch your handicap will rise very quickly
