Handicap category poll

I found some figures showing the breakdown of handicap categories by percentages, just wondered if the handicaps on this forum are similar.

So the question is simply, what handicap category are you? I've made the poll anonymous.

These figures actually relate to Ireland

17 handicapper but iv shot between 6 and 9 over in my last 7 rounds and I havent shot over 14 over since about June.... looking forward to playing some comps next year

I seem to keep meeting players from that category in matchplay competitions!

I note that despite all the supposed advances in club and ball technology, the majority of the players on here are Cat 3's! I understand that the average handicap for a club golfer is about 17! :mmm:

New technology doesn't prevent poor technique, poor game/course management or holes which are too small!
