Handicap change part 2

I'm quite happy to be one of those "certain people". There is a world of difference between playing a round having taken the plunge of declaring a Supplementary, and playing a casual round with your mates and saying after the round " that's a good score, I'll call it a qualifier".

Exactly that - the first cut wasn't done under the qualifying conditions required for HC changes.

It's not something I have seen yet - have had a few good supplementary cards after good medals rounds that I would expect to flag an ESR but didn't

But the good news was that today an ESR went through automatically without any input

Was that mine :D Interestingly, HDID shows the additional ESR in my playing handicap section, but the handicap graph doesn't reflect the additional ESR cut.....

To the OP, well done on winning the comp.I'm sure there is more improvement to come.

with the original bounce game card that got you the first cut, would you still have tried to put that in if you played crap and shot over 100?

In his defence, he did state it was other people afterwards who suggested he put it in, the Club should not of accepted it, he's playing well and it's the Club procedures that are wrong, it also seems there are some doubts about the ESR being applied correctly by the Club, I'm sure Phil or DCB will confirm.

Given that the club accepted the card as a Supplementary Card, it is then a Qualifying Score, so, is taken into account for an ESR.

I wasn't sure an ESR should include a Supp card, but, confirmation that a Supp counts towards ESR is given within the Definition of a Qualifying Score in the CONGU handbook.

It was yours - I was waiting for it come up and ask the question if I should implement it or not but it applied the ESR automatically which is a very good thing.

Not sure why it doesn't appear on the HC Graph on HDID. Find that to be a bit flakey to help you look at your stats - another reason why we could be moving away from HDID and CS
