Growing a beard

I'm growing a bit of facial fungus at the mo (no pun intended). Now I have never grown one before, clean shaven all my adult life. The missus hates it which suits me. The problem is my face is sooooooo sore at present. How long does this soreness last?

This is freaky!!

I'm in the same boat (Growing a beard), but suffer with facial eczema. If I don't shave every couple of days it flares up.

I tend to use a harsh face scrub most of the time. Seems to keep my skin under control and allows me grow a fungus, to use your words.

I get the annoying itchy stage after about a week then after another 1 or 2 it passes

I can;t grow one due to badger stripes of white... not a good look

As far as soreness goes, I've never experienced it and I've grown a few, including the Brian Blessed
just keep the dandruff under control or you'll over-season your kebab
