Why do we need to be identified?

Why do we need to be identified?
So you always argue when you take a flight do you?
If I'm involved in an accident I want the authorities to be able to contact HID.
When I'm driving in Spain I have to have both my passport and driving licence on me. Do I feel like my human rights are being infringed? Don't be silly!
To show we are not Johnny Foreigner. Why do we need to be identified?
I really can't see an argument for not having ID cards.
It's as if there's something to hide.
To show we are not Johnny Foreigner.
A friend of mine was covering some kind of civil liberties event where they were protesting about having to have national ID cards. And he and a colleague were thrown out for not having official badges for the event on display. The irony was just lost on the organisers.
Perhaps we should micro-chip every new born from now on.
.Perhaps we should micro-chip every new born from now on.
.
that to me is going to be happening very soon ,also have an in built tracker that can be checked to see where anyone has been let alone where they are now ,crime would be almost irradicated at a stroke as nobody would be able to say that they werent there at the time of a crime.
do nothing wrong and no worries
If you make it compulsory to carry your driving licence with you when you're driving then you've got the vast majority of adults covered.
I'd argue it will not be the vast majority. More young people in places like London are not bothering as they do not need one to get around. This shows that 63% have a driving licence https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1882997
I am more than sure that the stats are exactly not sound, but I imagine they are there or there abouts. So you can not have a scheme that only covers 60 to 70 percent of the population. You either do it for everyone or you don't, if not then no point doing it.
I hope I'm not around in a world like that - big brother monitoring every movement , sorry but no
