Poncey pathetic dress code requirements, e.g. what colour/length your socks have to be, tucking shirts in, no hats indoors, all that malarkey. Get it in the bin.

That rule when the ball is hanging on the edge of the hole that if it drops after 10 seconds you add a shot. Hate that. It's so anti-joy.

On a slightly less facetious basis. I basically enjoy most aspects of golf.Two things that can irritate are
Slow play which I usually manage to avoid
Very high prices for some golf courses which I'd like to play.

Slow play would be the only thing that I would put in a box

Never bothered about dress codes or cost of green fees etc both are something I can avoid but slow play 🤬

I quite like it in a playful respectful manner.

None of our captains get above their station and run around like Billy-Big-Baws.
Me too...I often greet our Gents or Ladies Captain in such a way - usually adding '...Sir' to the end for our gents captain - as in 'Good Morning Mr Captain Sir'...and said with a big grin.
