Yeah I don't disagree. In an ideal world I prefer 16 to 22 ish. Might hit 16 by my back nine tomorrow.Far better for golf than 28+.

Thought as much. A mate played it too and messaged to say it was close to an abomination…strange, as when we played it in an Open a year or so ago the course and greens were in pristine condition

They should have explained the situation and cancelled the Open. Diseases do happen.

It was highlighted in an email that the greens aren’t as good as they want with the language used suggesting that they were recovering with the roll true
Shoold have been imo communicated very clearly the standard of the greens
