Golf Random Irritations

Pulled the curtains open at first light to see very dark overcast sky and wet ground (Tues&Thurs are my range days before work) Still I’d already said I’d drop my wife off at her work on way to range so I couldn’t back out
Amazed to get bucket of range balls and 50+ chips done in the dry before heading to putting green. But only a dozen putts in and the heavens opened big style and sitting in office now it’s still coming down

Still, it should get the reservoirs back over the 50% mark but annoyed I couldn’t finish off what was turning out to be a productive practice session
Little and productive will always beat long and aimless

School Holidays
I'm all for junior golfers but you can walk faster than 0.5mph whilst talking to your fellow players and everyone doesn't have to visit everyone elses ball prior to playing a shot.:sleep::sleep::sleep:

That’s pretty much how the seniors play at my place. It’s even worse when they have carts. And even worse when it’s a mixed group playing from different tees.

Golf Clubs who advertise Opens on Golf Empire, but still want you to print out the entry form and post it with a cheque.

Strewth, I can't tell you when I last wrote a cheque 😁
Have they asked you to cross it as well and place it in an envelope sealed with wax

I like cheques.

I often wonder, on top of personal losses that can't be reclaimed, how much of their/our money banks lose in repaying account holders who have fallen victim to scams made possible by the ease of on-line purchases?

Most seem to love it...I hate it..
The Build Up to a major sporting event....right now it's The Masters.
Love the 4 rounds, quite like the Par 3 contest..everything else can go in the bin.
Watching players on the range, chatting and speculating on scores, who's going to play well etc etc etc.....just No.
Waste of time for me....can't be doing with any of it.
