Golf near Benalmadena

Going to Benalmadena for a few days end of August.
Looking to get a round in whilst over there.

Can anyone recommend a good track to play?
dont want to travel too far out as will be getting a taxi there.

If you play it then you WILL want to go back, When I played there, it was the fifth course of the week, given the choice I would play it every day on a week long break

Wasn't massively impressed with Torrequebrada myself.

For a bit less money, I'd play La Cala - America, or for about 30 euro less than Torrequebrada, play Cabapino. The money you save on the green fee will more or less cover the taxi fare, and it is a great little course, with one of the best par 4 tee shots you'll ever play (3rd hole).

Aside from Torrequebrada, all the courses worth playing are a decent taxi ride from Benalmadena. Bear in mind, if you are playing on a Sunday, the taxi fares shoot up.
