Good Morning,

just paid for my Weds and Thurs tickets for 2 adults and my boy (he'll be 9) and wondered what tips anyone had, we went to Hoylake but the rain kinda dampened the days we had there and we just travelled on the day.

Troon is approx 6 hour drive from me (Rugby-midlands)

We are thinking to travel tues and stay over, whats the closest I can get without being too expensive?

Is getting to the actual course easy enough?

Would flying from bham be a suitable option or is Glasgow too far to train?

any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

thanks

Going the same days as you are next year, but from South Wales. What we have done is booked the on site camping village, close and don't need to worry about travel to the course each day.
Mind not sure how I'm going to cope in a tent, haven't been camping for 50 years.
