Bought my Gokart trolley a year and a half ago and it's been absolutely faultless since. I noticed on wednesday of this week, however, that due to my own ham-fistedness when packing the trolley away last time I played, I have broken one of the retaining lugs off the clear cover for the scorecard holder. I e-mailed Gokart at 2.56pm today, asking if it was possible to purchase a replacement. Got an e-mail back at 4.19pm, saying that they were sorry to hear about my broken cover and that a replacement has been sent out in the post TODAY, FREE OF CHARGE!!

Fantastic service! :)

Cue the 'great service when things break' brigade............. :p

You have to hand it to them. I doubt the Go-Kart "breaks" more often than other trolleys but when they do, the problem does seem to get solved quickly.

Sandy - if you're reading this, why do I never win one in the competitions on your website?? :D :D :p

Scorecard holder, is that below the ball and tee holder? I make do with my pockets :D

Good service actually, especially if it was on a one year warranty.

Either GoKarts break easily, or the owners are the clumsiest bunch of oafs walking the fairways. How many "through my own stupidity..." broken GoKart threads have there been ?

Clearly us Motocaddy owners are just more intelligent :D

Or have to take them to a repair centre, be charged for the pleasure and return two weeks later :p

errr...not to put a dampener on the preceding, but the score card holder is a flawed design which is why they have no doubt quite a number on hand.
I've broken two of them and just not bothered to get a replacement.
The issue arises when you're closing the trolley, if you're like me once you've removed the battery you grab the center section and lift, this brings the two sections together quite fast. Unfortunately if you've not paid attention the card holder can flop open and get caught between the two halves, snapping off the small hinge tabs.
The cover needs to be either inverted or sprung to prevent it happening.

Oh, and BTW I absolutely LOOOOVE my goKart, it is so much better than my playing partners trolleys (which seem to forever be breaking down)

i love mine, had it two years, had a couple of user issue ;)which Sandy has been great at sorting.

4 of our gang have them now, they're cracking, and I'd be lost without mine (I'm soooooo lazy!)

Definitely seeing a rise in the numbers at my club which is a downer as they aren't buying and using me as a "friend" so I can get the discount on other accessories. Words in the car park on Saturday I think.

I've banged on long enough about the customer service but I think the one thing that really stands out is the speed of the response.

When i'm decrepit enough to need an electric trolley, i may consider a Gokart. One of my regular fourball has had one for a couple of years, with no problems.

Had one pretty much since they were released. Other than a snapped bungie (my fault, very hungover trying to put the bag on the trolley) it has been pretty much problem free. Needless to say new bungie dispatched same day no charge. Have to admit that I too have broken the card holder cover bit but I rarely used it so never asked for a replacement.

This argument comes up all the time, is it good customer service or a problem with the product. To me it is just good customer service. My Go-Kart has seen several years of problem free use whereas I have seen people buyer other trollies that are always breaking down.

Have to say, I am now tempted to get a matching bag as have had mine for a while.

So apart from the bungee breaking and the scorecard holder breaking, it's been "pretty much problem free" ? Sounds like a quote for the brochure to me
