I play the same amount through the winter , bracing mornings with dew on the ground are good for you. What else would you be doing ?

Love a nice heathland track though , keep me away from links at all costs. No good shot goes unpunished

Would play every day if possible, but not where I play it gets closed for boggy ground in the lower 40.
On a sunny day a links course is fine with the breeze from the sea keeping you cool.
Really any type of course is better than work.

Morning all,

Less in winter as freezing your nuts off too often is very bad for you, unless the hip-flask is well prepared (my favourite part of winter golf). Anyway, any golf beats walking round Sainsburys (other supermarkets may be available :D)

On a lovely summers day give me links golf everytime. I don`t play enough of it living about as far from the sea as it is possible to be ;)

weather and light permitting, I'll play - though I predict we'll be closed for a good stretch due to flooding and off b awful winter tees.

I put links as it just has that magic about it, though there is a hilltop course near here (cheap) that I really enjoy. Not played heathland (unless Crowboro'?) but Woodhall will fill that niche, nor clifftop - I think I'd like that.

Parkland for me, the thought of playing some bleak, desolate piece of waste ground (links) makes me feel ill, even in the Summer!

Considerably less for me as i live 20/30mins from the course so not be getting up in the week for a game or two.. also likely only play sat or sunday now and not both..

But always try and get in one round a week and of course twice a week to the range to keep the swing going.

I will be playing pretty much every weekend that the course is open. I am actually looking forward to the end of the season and a bit of a rest from the constant battle with my handicap. A few months of bounce games and the very odd comp with no worries about putting on more .1s is looking very attractive at the moment.
