St Andrews Jubilee is only £50 until the end of March, is another option and seems reasonable, that's 2014 prices so might be a bit dearer come 2015.

I'll be in for this. Can we try and make sure its not on Mothers Day this time around? Ditching Mrs Mcbroon with 2 sick weans on Mothers Day last year was not my finest hour.

I'd be up for playing if it was stableford. I'd even be happy of 7/8's. And I would agree with those that say forum members only who hold an active CONGU handicap
It only needs a bad start in a medal for the day to be a waste of time, money and effort.
Also as I've never entered one of these things is there a green fee, food etc on top of the entrance fee? If that is the case it should be taken into account that there are some people who do not always have a spare £150 to play a single qualifier so reasonable tracks, with reasonable fees for food and drinks would make sense.
