I just checked online- Dundonald gc, Sunday 29th March 2015 , £50 per head for 4 balls, Trumph Turnberry Ailsa non hotel residents £110 per round, i couldn't see 4 ball prices.

Western Gailes I'm certain will do £200 a fourball but payment up front.

I was very happy with the event last year and a big thanks to all of those that put on the qualifying events. Whatever the concept and wherever the qualifiers I'm happy to play and enjoy the day. Personally I don't have an issue with players entering more than once but again if its decided to change that then crack on

It was a great event and top finals day. Although it was a long round at hillside it didn't seem our group was waiting on every shot, despite ducking incoming on one fairway!
Hopefully a skipper for the ship can be found.

I've enjoyed reading about this years events and would like to play next year.

No I don't mind the drive, I combined it with work so my cost outlay was minimal. I can't remeber the forumer I played with but two visitors two. I'd rather know that I was travelling a long way to play with fellow forumers.

I think it was me you played with Mashy. Our round was ok until we let a couple of guys through who were playing a club knockout....who would have thought a 2 could be slower than a 4 ...

Unless its somewhere nice i might have to give it a miss esp with the new average speed cams on the A9. Have done it twice since they went on and there is def something wrong traveling under the speed limit

Get your chauffeur to set the cruise control to 49 .
Seriously where would you suggest the more ideas the better, but I think separate threads for each region are needed .
