I have a problem with intense sweating with my left hand, the glove hand. It often causes my grip to slip and I am getting to a point where I dont feel comfortable gripping the club with a soaking wet glove.

I currently use footjoy sci-flex, which i understand are a full leather glove, will i benefit from a synthetic glove?, or can anyway advise me to a certain type of glove that will stop or at least make the sweating less of a problem,

Thanks, Liam

Liam, do you remove your glove after each shot or do you leave it on for your entire round?

I have the same problem although not to the same extent as you.

Try removing your glove between shots, alternatively buy a glove that is designed to work when wet, i.e the Footjoy Weathersof.

I generally use footjoy but at the min I have a srixon and it it synthetic - works well in the wet so maybe give it a try. Whatever you do go for a white glove - that should reduce sweating..

I dought there is much you can do sweat wise apart from what Keef say's.

I take my glove off between shots and will change gloves after 9 holes to stop the glove getting too wet

Its a bugger i know

I know of some people who play with a gymnasts\weightlifters chalk bag in their bag, which they use to keep their hands nice and dry.

I never take my glove off during a round unless its raining and i have to change. Maybe because my hands dont sweat much at all. lol
