South African Louis Oosthuizen put four runners-up finishes behind him to land his first European Tour title.

And with victory in the Open de Andalucia de Golf in Malaga comes a return trip to Augusta for the Masters Tournament in two weeks. The 27 year old had to win to climb into The World's Top 50.

Didn't look like he was under any pressure/nervous at all.
Will be interesting to see him 'give it a knock' at Augusta.

Can't see it gents, apart from the 3 desert tournaments in January and one or two others like the PGA at Wentworth the European Tour these days seems devoid of all its big stars so is relatively easy to win on. The US Tour seems to be the place to be for all the top pros at the moment.
Personally I like to see all the top pros in one place competing so if the PGA tour is a level up from the European tour again that's fine by me. Also the time difference works for us as we get to watch the US tournaments of an evening, leaving the afternoons free to play golf!
I think Schwartzel is a better player than Oosthuizen anyway.

I did think Tim Clark was going to be the next best thing (and still reckon he's a bet for the Masters) but I don't think Oosthuizen is that special. It certainly wasn't the strongest field by a long chalk even by European Tour standards
