I ordered my custom fit Nike SQ machspeed irons from golfbuyitonline just over two weeks ago with the delivery time for custom fit being around 10-14days.

I called them today to check where they were (after a few unanswered emails) and quite simply they have no idea how long they will take. Apparently its a company called midas golf who actually do the custom building after being told they were made to spec by nike in holland???

I now have no idea whats going on or how much longer i'm going to have to wait.

Suppose its my fault for ordering these shocking looking clubs!

When I got fitted for my Mizzy's they quoted a 7-10 working day lead time. Got fitted 10 working days ago. Guess what?
Got a call this afternoon - they're in and I'm getting them tomorrow afternoon

Oh Happy Days!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

lucky git! i'm gutted.

I'm not sure whether to keep chasing them or not, what annoyed me was the vagueness of their response.

I'm hoping it'll be sometime this week.

I collect my new wedges tomorrow so I suppose it'll be a good chance to practise loads with them.

Sorry to hear that Minty, as I posted last time, I had a very good experience with them. I know that is no consolation to you but hopefully they will come soon for you.

The annoying thing is I dont believe it is their fault, however i'd like them to keep me informed alot better than they have done.

Not so sure minty. My missus ordered stuff off them at Xmas and apart from the socks they got the order all wrong. She then had a bit if a nightmare getting a refund. I put it down to Xmas madness but I think they are probably great when they have stuff in stock but are less dependable when they outsource. Either that or they had massive rush when people saw the ball offer and can't keep up with demand.

On the flip side you did get a free stand bag as they'd run out of balls ;)

I won some custom fitted Nike clubs last year (3wood, 2R, 3R & 4R). The Hybrids were all regular shafts, no extra length, took a couple of weeks for the 2 & 4 to arrive, but the 3R took 3 months.......

I got fit for my tm's at ag, and was told 2 weeks, but then got a phone call a week later and told more like a month, took 5 weeks all told, but I didn't mind as it was nov/dec, and they had the good grace to keep me informed!
Good luck mate....

I bought some custom Big Bertha in March 08 from the same company although i was fitted in their shop. I was quoted two to three weeks i believe and told i would get a call so i could collect them. As it happened i got fitted whilst away for my wedding anniversary i actually live in Kent. The clubs were delivered within the three weeks for no extra charge. All in all i was quite happy with them.

It's all doing my head in abit now, i just want the clubs!

The ball offer has something to do with it i'd imagine however surely nike should have pre-empted this.

I should have ordered them standard and got my pro to custom fit and alter them.
