Right how to put this lol, is there like a general rule with regarding knowing if your club flex is not stiff enough for you or too stiff for you?

Got a set of fairway woods and got a feeling they are not stiff enough for me? How would i know once hitting them??

thanks for advise in advance.

If they are not stiff enough, you would probably lose it left, and feel a bit out of control with it, ie: not knowing what the club head is doing. Find some old chap with senior flex shafts and have a hit, you will know the feeling.

If they are too stiff, you will probably lose it right, and it will feel unresponsive, a bit like a scaffolding pole.

Am I allowed to post a thread basically amounting to young men owning stiff shafts and older men with shafts lacking in stiffness?

Permission to act like a thirteen year old.....

Right this is funny...

At the range last night hitting them for the first time all headed to the right.. But once i then hit my old g2 steel 5 wood it goes down the middle? Maybe i just need to get used to these..

In the end the only way I could get them to go down the middle was to slow my swing down a little and try not to hit them as i would normaly hit my 5 wood..
