Evening all,

I was wondering if any of the first buyers of the Garmin S1 Gps watches are having the same issues as me?

Upto 2-3 months ago I had no issues getting 27 holes out of my S1, but over the last week I've not been able to get 18 holes with it dying of the 16-17th hole.

I could put it down to age as mine is getting on for 3 years old and 500+ rounds of golf but with it being a lithium battery I'd have thought it would last for many more years.

(Before anyone pipes up, Its getting charged overnight, 12+ hours before being used, even after that its not showing full charged)

Hi Lump.
Mine's about 18/24 months with no probs.
After a round of golf it still functions as a watch for days.
When I first got it it would only last about 12 holes.
I contacted Garmin by phone and they were very helpful.
I'd caused the problem myself but can't recall how.
If I remember all that happened was I drained it and then did an overnight charge.
Are you turning GPS off as soon as the round is over?

Its completely flat and turns itself off before the round is finished.
It gets charged long enough to give it a full charge, but when you unclip it from the charger it does not show a full charge.
