Just got the platinum on Midnight Suns. Got God of War Ragnarok and MW2 to go that I got for Xmas plus a few PS plus games ready to go. Plenty to keep me going until Jedi Survivor and Starfield

Will look out for that.

Just finished Horizon Forbidden West on PS5, currently playing God of War.
I gave up on that. I got stuck somewhere (fighting a few mechanical things).

Going through the back catalogue of PS4 games now. Finished Desperadoes 3, now in Dead Red Redemption 2.
Also doing a bit Grand Tourismo at the side.

When buying the current FIFA, would that be just national teams? Do I have to wait for a newer version to play leagues?

You just need to upgrade the correct weapons and armour, I only used a few weapons and took down all the large machines from distance ?
The best weapon, by far, when fighting stronger machines is the Spike Thrower. The one that does damage, then blows up for extra damage. When I got cornered, I just started firing that at them continuously (maybe after building up their elemental weakness first for a bit of extra damage)

PS I mean the general weapon class Spuke Thrower. They get more powerful as you go along and get more.

I was more a bow and arrow pussy from long distance ?
I did that for 95% of time. Spend 4 hours gradually weakening an enemy as much as I can, before any chance of direct conflict. Ripping off some armour and components.

But, when they saw me and came in for kill, Spike Thrower out.

In the original I used to be a keen user of traps and trip wires. But, didn't go overboard this time.

In a complete change of pace, I’ve been enjoying Disney Dreamlight Valley. Not much thought required, which is perfect after a day at the office.

Now that I’ve got the hang of the cover drive also enjoying Ashes 2022

I have recently been playing Stray on PS5, after trying to find something as enjoyable as Ghost after I played and got plat on last year, it is not as good in my opinion but I am enjoying it and it's up there as the next best I have played over the last twelve months.

I completed it 3 or 4 times so I could get platinum, loved it.

My mate has temporarily moved into my house as he is his marriage fell apart before Xmas, so needs time away while they sort stuff out, though they have 2 kids so they will take it in turns to live in their house each week, while the other lives away.

Anyway, I thought I'd Google PS5 games that are good 2 player games, and bought a few. "It Takes Two" was well rated, so just blindly bought that amongst others. We stuck it on the other night. The opening scene was a husband and wife arguing as they got out of the car, while their sad daughter looked at them from the upstairs window. The second scene was them at the dinner table, breaking the news to their daughter that they are getting a divorce, with the daughter running to her room and wishing things to be fixed. The game gets going, once the parents are magically turned into her dolls, becoming a bit like Toy Story / Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

During these opening scenes I was think "Ohh my God, what have I done here". I should have put on FIFA23, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Classic or Diablo III.

Mind you, if you are looking for a fun family game, and your in a stable relationship, It Takes Two is quite a fun 2 player game.
