My experience is usually that all the pumps on the same side as my car's fuel filler are occupied by other cars!

Don't drivers realise that the hose on petrol pumps is quite long and will reach both sides of their car. Always amazes me drivers queuing for a pumps when there are free ones, which mean they will have to stretch the hose another seven feet.
Mind you it does mean I can nip in front of them so not all bad.:thup:

I wouldn't drape the heavy oily rubber hose over my car just to get to a hose quicker, I'd rather wait and protect my car 👍

Yeh pull foward enough and they reach my xc90 which is a pretty large motor without the pipe touching the car, I always wear the gloves anyway so would just hold it away should it be close..

no, your on about when you park on the other side of the nosel and you have to "reach around"
