Very sorry to hear that, hopefully it is a case of somebody forgot to hand it in and will turn up in a few days.
On a side note along similar lines if you are playing in a comp and you find a lost club and like most good minded golfers pick it up and put it in your bag with the good intentions of handing it in to the pro shop. Now I was wondering has this charitable act of kindness all of a sudden got you disqualified from the comp as you now have too many clubs in your bag ?? Or is there provision for such an event.
