Ok it was a team competition for a charity day, but well chuffed to have actually won a comp at our club.

Four ball stableford 3/4 handicap, best two scores count to the team, we came in with 83 pts :clap: Had a few dodgy holes, as you do in these comps, but luckily others were there to fill in when I messed up and vice versa.

Now, to manage it in an individual comp..

Well done Ian,enjoy it when you can, just a super feeling and you can think of all that good shots you made to help the cause.

I was playing in a match play game yesterday and was four down after six- sad- and playing quite well!

Managed to square it by the end and then had to endure five extra holes, all halved in pars, before I scraped through. Our better ball was two under par so the game was played at a high golfing level for handicap players.

My tail, like yours no doubt, is still wagging.
