Anyone else care to share their history of footy top ownership?

My first was the 1980 Liverpool top with Hitachi on it. I loved it and eventually let it go when I was about 3 feet taller.

My favourite was the 1990 Brazil top and my worst was the 1996 Motherwell top as it made me smell like week old fish.

Birmingham City late 70s (god knows why I don't support them but thought Trevor Francis was the nuts) always used to wear it with pair of Andy Gray (my hero) style sweatbands!
Ajax - same era. Classic
Wales - with the vertical lines down it. Coventry City had a brown version of this one which was even worse

first - white england shirt from lineker era
coolest - Man utd home shirt, cant remember which year but it had old trafford sketch on it.
uncoolest - the grey Man utd shirt that they wore at southampton away, decided they couldnt see the players against the crowd and never wore again.

In the early seventies when Leeds United had a truly impressive team, I had a Leeds top. Since it was probably the only one in Edinburgh at the time, I had many friends who wanted to try it on for our after school kickabout in the street.

Came back to earth with a bump after that with the old style Hearts top. Maroon with white band round the collar/neck. Funnily enough no-one wanted a shot of that one! Mind you that may have been because we lived in the same street as the then Hibs manager !

I had loads when I was to young to remember but the first I actually bought with my own pocket money was the 1995 Black United away top with Sharp Viewcam on front and Cantona, 7 on the back. I wore it everywhere except school, even to bed. I still have it somewhere.

My worst was the grey United one that was 'invisable'

My Favourite was the Blue and White stripped one with all the United players names on it.

My latest purchase last week, is the Brazil home top.

Worst United top I never owned was the stupid Yellow and Green battenburg top. Almost as bad as Serie A's pink strips! Or the United top with a lace up collar!

First was the old round neck united top from late 60's.

Best, couldn't decide really i've had that many, poss AC milan top that I used to play in (team strip, classy)

Worst, had to be a Chelsea top, yellow with pin stripes, IT WAS CHEAP!.

I generally bought tops because I liked them not because I supported the team.
Most treasured, Barnsley promo top "just like watching Brazil".

Tony, that battenberg top is my lads favourite united top. I think he had every shirt they brought out from 90-05 inc goalie tops.

FIrst was a Wimbledon one when they first got promoted into the league (they were my nearest team). Coolest probably the England top for Italia 90. Wore it to the pub for every game and always kissed the badge for luck after getting my 4 pint pitcher in for each half

The uncoolest was a blue Fulham (3rd kit). They only ever wore 3rd kits once maybe twice a season in the lower leagues. Why go for something so rarely seen on your heroes.

A**hole! :D

The most simple shirt yet the best one of the lot! Looks even better with Bobby Charlton in it!
