On The Rocks, Bill Murray in his usual brilliant form, cracking film.
The Pale Blue Eye, Christian Bale film on Netflix. Very much a slow burner but very decent. A Netflix film without explosions or car chases ?. Biggest surprise, Dudley Dursley in a starring role, very good he is too.

There are a few jokes in the film about her age. We were watching it with my daughter who home from uni. I asked her how old she thought Hayek is? She said mid-30s, so I told her to Google it. She couldn't believe she is 56.

The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker. A documentary about the viral internet star called Kai who got famous for an incredibly violent act (albeit apparently saving 2 people) and then got imprisoned for murder for a different violent act a short while later. I remember the clip doing the rounds but Didn’t know the rest of the story. Only in America.

Did The Batman last night, thought it was really good. Dark and gritty it’s been described as and I agree, (actually very dark, I had to watch it with the lights off otherwise I wouldn’t have seen a thing!)
Cant get away from the fact it was too long though. It would have been better if they had reduced the last hour to 20 minutes.

I think this logic can be applied to most films now. Definitely every superhero film, but most others also.
