Vanilla Sky is another excellent Tom Cruise film which seems to fly under the radar
There are very few cruise films I don't enjoy. Very good actor.

It certainly wasn’t what I was expecting, thought it was going to be a modern take on Brideshead Revisited. It kind of was but really wasn’t
I'm toying with watching it. Doesn't seem to be my kind of movie but my work mate suggested.. well more said "Paul watch this today"

I’ve just watched the Tetris movie on Netflix. Actually watched it against my will but I really enjoyed it. It’s amazing what they had to go through to release that game.

Oppenheimer. Definitely one of the best films this century. An instant classic. Didn't think Murphy would have had the depth to pull it off, but he was very good. Its a shame that Bradley Cooper is in the same year as Christopher Nolan director wise, as he would surely have won in any other year. Nolan is a dead cert for the Oscar though.

Went to the cinema to see Poor Things. Really well acted, and great costumes & sets - but totally bonkers. Now just waiting for someone to tell me what it was all about.

I was disappointed by this, which is a shame as I was looking forward to it.
I watched a documentary a few weeks ago, which was excellent.
I thought the film would have concentrated more on the process of how they perfected the bomb & shown more of the calculations & testing.
For me, there was too much emphasis on the politics surrounding the project.
We're all different I suppose.
