Last Night In Soho was our viewing…last night. Decent film, odd but well worth a watch. I’d like to know people’s thoughts on the ending, satisfied or not?
We watched Saltburn last night, the missus thought it was half decent but I really enjoyed it.
It definitely splits opinions. I really liked it but the missus found it quite disturbing.Watched Saltburn, enjoyable but a weird enjoyable.
It's one of that movies were you need to engage in it.
Excellent acting for the type of movie.
Have to disagree LT - nothing could possibly be worse than The Eternals.I'm currently watching The Marvels. Lordy it's bad, so very bad .
It's pushing The Eternals for the worst Marvel film made.
It's a great true-life story - if it had been written, no-one would have believed itWe watched American Underdog a few days ago, we also loved it, I wish they’d concentrated more on his NFL career but that’s just me selfishly wanting to watch some old game footage
I said it was pushing it, I didn't say it surpassed it . I'm not sure anything can be worse than The Eternals .Have to disagree LT - nothing could possibly be worse than The Eternals.
The Marvels was ok - I went in with zero expectations and thought it was ok (the girl that played Ms Marvel is very good and I don't quite understand the kicking that Brie Larson gets).
As Kaz said, Quantumania is close to Eternals in rubbishness but at least I sat through Quantumania - I only managed half of Eternals!
I think most people agree that the drop off in quality after Endgame was massive.
I was so into the Marvel films right up to Endgame, but after the last three or so that I saw after that - now I don't even bother to look out for them, let alone watch them. I'll watch Deadpool 3 this year and that'll be all I should think.I think most people agree that the drop off in quality after Endgame was massive.
Totally, only one decent film in Guardians 3, the rest pretty awful and the TV series were not much better.

Agree re the family.I said it was pushing it, I didn't say it surpassed it . I'm not sure anything can be worse than The Eternals .
Is Ms Marvel the young girl with the mum, dad, brother? I liked her, the family brought some light relief. Brie Larsen, in this, is just bland, beige . You can't have a boring and uninspiring superhero, it doesn't work .
Really looking forward to thatI think Deadpool 3 is going to be the only Marvel film this year with everything else delayed by the strikes or by Jonathan Majors getting found guilty.
Even as a comic fan, none of the current run of characters resonates with me and none of the people playing them have the same presence as Downey Junior, Evans, Hemsworth etc. Plus, I am fed up of no films standing on their own. the thing about the origianl phases is that, aside from Endgame, you could pretty much drop into any film with little background knowledge but you just cannot do that now.
I (re)watched Edge of Tomorrow this week. Such a good movie!
