This is why I hate football. So the bottom line is, if you cheat at football and the ref does not see it while the whole world does, then its irreversible.

I'll go along with that, but if a player slaps another player and the ref does not see it, it can be sorted later.

What the hell would the FA hope to get out of appealing the result of either Gerrys v Frogs or Argies v Belgians??
