Fifa or PES???

pes 5 I think it was was awesome on pc, had patches (unofficial) for realistic kits and player names, online leagues etc

then fifa took over and I am now fifa 11 and ultimate team... has had a few ms points off me so far although my team is not too shabby now :)

I always found scoring with pes was a much more rewarding experience as you really could string some really good moves together.

probably be fifa 12 for me due to the official licenses

Fifa all day long here. I find the gameplay so much more realistic. The players moving into positions they actually would in a game. I find PES a bit straight line, everything seems to work in straight lines which I find really annoying. Never liked PES since I first tried it and even though mates played it I couldnt get on with it so I wont be buying the new one.

Ultimate team, be a pro and clubs all make the game worthwhile having as well as the licenses.

But thats my gripe with FIFA 11, they do make straight line runs. And usually they don't stop until there miles offside.

The new PES has far better AI, over lapping full backs. pass and move AI, triggered runs and a new system of player control for ingame and set pieces that is pretty good.

well there you go proves how we all see things differently. thing is with these games is they change the AI every year and its hard to start with then soon as you know how to play against it then everything becomes easy again. for example year 1 its easiest to score goals from crosses, year 2 the 1-2 system works well, year 3 cutting in from the wing and placing shots. things like that they change every year.

Good but random deal for FIFA and pants here if anyone's interested.

Have you used this site mate? is it any good?
I've used The Hut in the past before yes. Been absolutely fine for me. Not for a pre-order though so can't guarantee if it'll come on release day. You'd hope they'd get it to you for then though since you pre ordered so early.
The Hut group run the Zavvi (ex Virgin Megastores) website and a few others.
I've gone for the deal as I figure, I'd be looking to pay £30 for the game and consider that a bargain, so a pack of pants for a fiver is a deal for me :)
