Feeling like letting partner down

I played a 4bbb on Sunday.
We won and scored 38 points.
My partner had a dog of a day but boy did we enjoy the two or three cracking putts he made to increase our lead or save the hole.
I'm off 27 and I've partnered single handicappers. Winning or halving just a few holes for us is a great feeling.
And yes - never say "Sorry partner".

Quite right, tennis or golf, no apologies during the game, save them for after by which time you can blame your partner.

I tell you what though, tennis doubles goes to the opposite extremes, high fiving each other after every shot - drives me mad, and very little drives me mad
