There’s a number of guys I miss but understand why people grow out of the forum, or become disillusioned, is Gibbo. What a lovely guy to play a round of golf with, as are so many.

Smoky Mo's!! Now there's a place. I had a loyalty card for that place once because it meant you got a bit knocked off a pint when the odd time we had a pint after work. It's not a place I'd take the Mrs

The North West Order of Merit ran for a few years before families and life took over. We had some amazing days out , trips and golfing rivalries.
My personal faves were Formby and Royal Liverpool double header. The Mottram Hall Masters and playing a number of times at Wallasey,

A four ball this Sunday at Formby is now £780!

Murcar was a cracking forum game. I came off the course level par, though we did only manage one hole before the snow/sleet drove us off the course. 
Think Junior saved my life getting me back to clubhouse before I went snow blind. Seem to remember by the time we got in Big Stu was on his third pint.
Up with the forum meet at Siloth as the coldest I have ever been on a golf course. Survived the Beast from the East.

I remember when we had to use @PNWokingham videos to find where Ricks ball was in the bunkerSlasher had a 18 on the par five, but fortunately he had a shot.

Silloth/Turnberry was super. Never been so cold on a golf course.

Playing Princes in the "beast from the east" my right eye got bloodshot and froze solid
Watching someone write on Homers ball with a green sharpy and placing it on a tee, after nearly killing us when he thundered a ball through us on the green
Nearly killing Homer at Suningdale from the practice area, but did called "fore" to save his life !
Playing Smiffys Cooden meet in 40+ mph winds
Winning H4H at West Hill carding the best gross and net score I was told
Hearing Fish getting slaughtered for losing the yellow ball on his first hit of it at Woburn
Playing all the Old gits v Whippersnappers meets at Forest Pines
Playing H4H with some lads we were playing to support
Playing with Blue in Munich and making a great friend
Loads of other things too !

Bestest Forum Moment for me has to be the Machrie meet on Islay just after covid lockdown was lifted in October 2020
About 30 of us attended, the weather was shirt sleeves, proper nice, we werent sure we could go until about a week before the event.
Played The Machrie twice, then back over to the mainland for Machrihanish Dunes and Dunaverty on the same day and Machrihanish,on the last day as folk needed to travel
and still had change from £400 including 3 nights accommodation.
Lots of laughs, and yes I played my second shot from the beach, dodging the incoming tide, there is a video somewhere, @Radbourne2010 wets himself whenever he thinks about it

I’d always been brought up in quite a serious golf environment, tucked shirts and hats off on the clubhouse so I got a real kick from JustOne gathering some dry grass and proceeding to set fire to it over Snelly’s ball at a H4H at Blackmoor - the GM events certainly create lasting memories
