Good idea imo, good to try this in this sort of format. Have a look at this leaderboard - The "Thomson" with Tony Finau is Lexi. Some pretty decent names below them.

The QBE shootout is a 3 round event in which the first and last rounds (I think) are whatever format is called in which you choose the best drive, so Finau's length overcame the obvious disadvantage and from there in it was how good a golfer you are. More formats, mix in the women's tour, I'm all for it. It should be entertaining to watch and while I'm a purist at heart and wouldn't want to see anything happen the big 72 hole tournaments I'm all for a change of scenery in these auxiliary ones.
