Electric trolley

My Dad has one of these and while it's been ok he's had some issues with the control unit. To be fair to Prorider they've been good and replacement is a 30 second job but I feel it's an issue you wouldn't get if you spent a bit more on a more well known make.

Can I ask what issues he has had?

I've been following a few just lately on fleabay but I'm after a remote.

That link does very attractive especially with a 5 year warranty and 36 hole battery.

It just stops working... replacing the conrol panel sorts it out as does the odd 'percursive adjustment'. I just feel that it is a bit flimsier than my Powakaddy, which I've had no issues with at all.

In my humble opinion it's worth spending the extra £90 on getting something like this

A lot of people on here rave about the GoKart but I've had no experience of them. They're only £50 more than the ProRider.

Chris which one do you have? What about the bag as well? Thanks.

The standard one before the new modified speed control. I have the bag too as it keeps a fair bit of muck from the car boot. Yes, iv'e had some problems with mine but the service and back up is the best of any product I have owned

My GoKart went back after 3 years without any problems, because the wire had started shearing. Got the upgrade and serviced and returned with a 2 year warranty! It's been as good as gold since too.

I don't think they have any more or fewer problems than other manufacturers' trollies, but the customer service when they do is second to none.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love mine.

I bought a remote control of ebay, (active sport and leisure, hull).
Bought it on 20/4,it has been fine, works well, gets used 3 x a week,it has started "whirring" quite a bit. I did do 3 rounds on a flat course on a single charge, but im not convinced it will do that for long, battery and charger just dont seem right.
I "made seller an offer" which was accepted, give me a shout if you want to no what i paid.

+1 for gokart, i have the automatic version and it's great - it's pretty basic and it's great knowing the after sales are awesome.

I picked up the bag at the same time, which is pretty awesome, love the cool pocket and dry pocket, going from a stand bag to this means i was struggling to fill two pockets never mind the 10+ it has!

I've seen those, there all over fleabay.

I've been tracking some more well known brand names second hand.
