Is it possible to cancel the order and the buyer send payment another way.

Sounds like you’re about to get scammed if you go outside of eBay.

If they can’t pay the invoice that eBay auto sends then it’s their problem not yours.

I did think about cancelling the order, like the guy did who I bought the Ping clubs off and then re listing the item for a buy it now price inc postage and hopefully sort it that way by letting the buyer know so he can purchase it.
