Early Open thoughts

Think you'll be alright there!

Just know Stricker wasn't intending to play as the commentators were saying about it during the U.S. Open!

http://www.theopen.com/en/Players/EntryList.aspx your correct Strickers not listed in the field, now why would somebody who's in form not want to play The Open! I know he's cut down on he's schedule but The Open....Stricker should show more ambition in he's sport.

Bjorn
Lowrey
Els
Tim Clark
Sullivan [has he qualified?]

Looks like being my annual £10 bet

I was over there today and can confirm that the rough is definitely up. Tigger and Wee Mac haven't a chance
Gullane No1 and Luffness look evil so you gamblers should look at the qualifying scores for ideas.

He could be but he won't even be playing come round 3 so he'll have a mighty job featuring come Sunday.

I fancy Garcia to feature then fold like a cheap suit. Coetzee as a long shot,Day and Woods.

I reckon Garcia will have the weekend off.

Rory could be ok if they put some washing machines on the fairways

Woods has no chance at Muirfield, he's simply not straight enough off the tee.I expect him and Rory to post up big numbers as they did at Merion. We are talking real golf here and not the -20 target golf that only the Nike boys can play.It will to an in form straight grinder.
